26 is a nonprofit project rooted in yoga, breast cancer research, education, and community support. Through donation-based yoga classes, 26 raises funds for breast cancer research while creating spaces for movement, awareness, and connection.
I'm a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, marathon runner, outdoor enthusiast, and founder of The 26 Project.
Movement has always been an important part of my life. Whether I'm running, spending time outdoors, or stepping onto my mat, movement helps me feel grounded, connected, and fully present.
I discovered yoga at a young age through my mom. What began as an activity we shared became something much more meaningful - a practice that strengthened our bond and continues to remind us that we are human, that rest matters, and that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply be.
Breast cancer awareness is a cause that has always been close to my heart. From participating in Susan G. Komen walks to supporting donation-based fundraising efforts, I have long felt called to advocate for those affected by breast cancer, including my mom.
The 26 Project was created from that calling. My hope is to build a community rooted in movement, support, and connection - a space where every woman feels seen, supported, and reminded that she is never alone.
I'm so grateful you're here, and I can't wait to see you on the mat.
Inspired by my mom - a three-time breast cancer survivor - 26 honors the strength, resilience, and warrior spirit of everyone affected by breast cancer.
The name 26 is personal.
Through yoga, 26 is about union: of breath and movement, of self and community, of adversity and purpose.
The mission is threefold:
Supporting research focused on better treatments, earlier detection, recurrence prevention, and improving outcomes for people affected by breast cancer. All donations go directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Breast cancer is often thought of as something that happens later in life, but diagnoses in younger women are rising. 26 shares accessible, research-based information to help young women feel more informed, empowered, and proactive about their health.
Beyond fundraising, 26 creates ways to support breast cancer fighters and survivors through community events, education, and online resources.
This project is inspired by my mom, but it is for every person whose life has been touched by breast cancer.
